READ MORESilane-Crosslinked Low-Smoke, Halogen-Free Flame-Retardant Insulation Materials (B1, B2 Class) for Construction Engineering are divided into Part A and Part B. After mixing and extrusion, crosslinking can occur naturally without LED or accelerator irradiation, or can be achieved through warm water or steam. At an indoor temperature of 25℃, using ambient humidity, crosslinking can automatically complete in 2–3 days, meeting cable standard requirements. This method effectively avoids additional investment in UV equipment, prevents incomplete crosslinking of dark-colored cables, eliminates the need for accelerator irradiation, extends the production cycle, and consumes no energy, making it an ideal choice for wire and cable manufacturing.
The B1 and B2 class products meet the B1 and B2 combustion performance requirements specified in the national standard GB 31247-2014, including flame propagation, heat release rate, total heat release, smoke density, burning drips, combustion particulates, toxicity of combustion gases, and extremely low corrosiveness.
